A lot of Marquee's for Sale

Hey Hotshot I finally am home and had a few mins to look at that written note that we all got, heres what mine says....
"hey huckle...thanks for your purchase. i am sending you a free marquee because even though the drak stalkers is NOS (never been used) the tip top and bottom are scuffed. My employees cant stack marquees the right way. When you put the marquee in the game you wont see it because the marquee brackets will cover it. I'm sorry again and hope you enjoy the marquees. Please email at............for any questions and comments." Well there it is word for word...That explains the whole does he really know what NOS means or not myth....Jake
 
Well, the next question is, is that good enough for you? Are you going to help us out by complaining to PP? I wouldn't blame you if you waited for the free stuff before you did, but that is only if you are actually going to get anything...

Yeah when I saw the thread, I was thinking about buying some marquee if the price was right. But he woundn't list prices so I forgot about it. He wasn't giving enough info or thought into the whole thing. That's why I stayed away.

No pics, fishing for top dollar and in a big hurry... I noticed that too but that still doesn't justify anything.
 
Well smiley right now my brain is elsewhere so no i am not going to do anything right now..the only reason i am still on the puter is because i am setting up dates and times for the funeral and i wanted to say thanks to those who have supported me and the fire station through this......Just wanted to let yall know what was written to me....Personally I think right now to me that is just lesson learned the hard way for me, its sad this is the first time i have ever had this bad of a time with a klover...Jake
 
As an update to this thread, Foxen has refunded me an amount I have asked for ($15 of the $30) I sent him.

I'm posting to say he apologized and although I won't be buying anything from now on without pictures, I am satisfied with this transaction.
 
Not a word to me thus far, and I spent more than most (if not all) of the others. Another person speaking to me in PM has told me he was offered a refund days ago but has not received it.
 
He stated on the Neo-Geo boards that he plans to make right with everyone except you, Scott. Just FYI I guess.

That was me man, and he hadn't so I PM'ed him again and he sent it. I'm not sure what is going on with yours, but if he wants to make this really right, he needs to address your concerns as well.
 
Yes... he does. It's not even about the money to me.. it's the principal of it. Regardless of what is or isn't true about the whole thing, he tried to shirk responsibilty for anything that went wrong.

A real man would make it right even to the guy who called him out.
 
I will make it right with everyone. Even though Texas really pissed me off and said some things that where untrue and honestly made assumptions, the fact of the matter is he ordered NOS and did NOT get them. I will make it right with you Texas, but give me a day or so to move money to paypal as well as speak to everyone. As for the Neo-Geo posting, that is indeed me and was venting out a lot of frustration, but let me assure you Texas I will do my damndest to make it right.

I worked management at retail for years. I often felt people were "unreasonable" as he says I am being, but ya know what, our job was still to make things right by a person, even if they were.

I don't feel that I was... I called it how I see it, which is what I do in life. Instead of the whole BS "friend" story and what have you, he should have offered a refund to everyone right away.

That's the right thing to do when you screw up, even if someone is being "unreasonable"

EDIT: He posted while I was writing, and while I'll leave this up, I will say publically that I appreciate his post and await his making things right.
 
I don't see how what you said or did was unreasonable. All you want is your money back. You may have come off as a dick about it, but hey - you got screwed - you had every right to be.

It's not like you were asking him to not only give you your money back, but also any interest you could have accumulated while said money was in the bank, and some pills for your headache that this has caused, as well as a cup of coffee...just because.

you just want your $ back.

For the record i've issued refunds to everyone that wants them except the following:

zfcamaro: whom i've pm 2 times with no response as of yet. He/she bought the bionic-commando. Please contact me when you get on so we can work this out.

Texas: I have communicated with Texas and am going to pay him for his losses when I transfer the funds to my paypal account. Thank you Texas.

SilverEagle: have communicated with and am awaiting funds as he gave me his paypal account to do so. He is asking for the customs fee to be refunded around 46-48 from what I can remember.

Hucklebuck: Although none where NOS he has said that only the DarkStalkers is the bad one, as i'm awaiting a pm from him to make this right.

I just want to thank everyone for working with me and taking this how you all did... Yes, even you Texas

. I now have learned a few things.
1- never sell something that you haven't seen with your own eyes and say it's something when your not sure.

2-communicate a lot faster, even though I was elsewhere I should have communicated a lot faster.

3-this community is great and even though I did burn some, they have continued to help me and forgive me for the errors I have made. I can only hope that people don't lose credibility in me and shun me from communication. Although I understand that if i ever want to trade, buy, sell anything again I have to be absolutely clear and provide pictures of everything. So thank you all and hope we can eventually find common ground and grow together as collectors and learn from one another. Eric
