Finally finished my Journey restoration.
Picked up the gutted out cabinet about 9 months ago and slowly went through the restoration process. It doesnt look too bad in the before pictures - however I will say - it was way way way beyond repair. The whole cabinet had sever water damage all over it.
First I collected the parts to put it together - marquee, board, wiring harness etc etc etc.
Rebuilt the cabinet using the only good original cabinet parts. Painted it and put it back together. That is the short version.... There was a lot of work put into this baby.
I still have to wire up the coin door lights, and would like to find a nicer monitor for it. Also I need to find a nicer monitor bezel (the one that is pictured came with the machine and has had the instruction card scraped off and painted over when it was converted).
Anyway - its a good feeling to finish this one!
