So I'm at Bob Roberts page and looking through his G07 writeup, I just installed a switcher and being i have 165V at the switcher..I wanna make sure I don't fry the monitor as that seems a little high
Here's what he says about the voltage
To adjust the B+ for 120 VDC you will need to clip your ground lead of your meter to the metal frame anywhere, and the red lead to the end of R01, the large white sand resistor mounted on the left side of the chassis frame as in the pic below, on the furthest terminal with the white wire attached to it. If your voltage is off the 120 mark you need to adjust R909 as shown in the pic below, until you have an exact 120 volts DC.
I can't locate R01 as my g07 is slightly different than the one he has pictured on his page.
Here's a pic...the resister mounted at the end of the white wire (on the monitor metal chassis) has 165 volt to it yet (exactly same incoming voltage on the switcher) when I move the adjusting pod I do get any change thus I think I'm in the wrong spot.
I'm sure this will be a quickie for someone that actually knows what they are doing
Thanks!
