didn't have a good way to dry out the inside so I turned on the oven and backed the shop vac up to it to blow hot air into the paper mache cab

added some paint and used a fan to speed the process

Well, that was a shock!! I was with you up to the newspaper. At first I was thinking template for a physical cabinet, just smaller. The reveal was worth it!!

Looks cool!

Won't the cardboard base make it harder to bust?

Oh, and did you load it with candy?

Won't the cardboard base make it harder to bust?

Probably but this was made for a 40 year old's party.

Oh, and did you load it with candy?

Yes it was loaded with candy but the birthday boy opted to keep it rather than bust it open. People just reached in the hole I cut to fill it when they wanted to get some out.

HAHA. Great stuff man. Looks like we have some catching up to do in terms of our party favors. I would never have dreamed that up in a million years.

Built using virtually the same materials as actual Q*bert cabinets. I bet it will puff up if you get it wet too.

J/K Very nice. Much more creative that me.
