It never fails to amaze me how relevant PC repair knowledge is in the modern arcade.

Big Buck Hunter Pro SD, periodically fails to boot with "Operating System Not Found" error. Suspecting the hard drive, I check the brand -- WDC (Western Digital). Boot up Data Lifeguard, run the full scan. It comes back with this:

Nice! I didn't know DLG could do that! It's reimaging right now.

I really should do a writeup on PC problems that commonly crop up in PC-based arcade games. I'm a lazy man, however.

I will leave you this tip though: once a week, walk around to each game and check EVERY power supply for a working fan. If you find a bum fan, turn that game off IMMEDIATELY and replace the fan. I've lost too many PSUs to heat due to a fan going out.

I head up the engineering department for a big PC & Laptop repair company. Stuff like that is so stupidly common it's almost painful.

If your drive is throwing SMART errors it's time to replace it ASAP while it can still be read/copied.

While cheap fan alarms are easy to find, Most people don't install them until after thier Computer/ arcade blows up.

Fan... alarms? Why didn't I think of that... do they have any special requirements, i.e. monitor wire? Will they work with any voltage fan, even AC fans?
