In an experiment I wanted to stage to satisfy my own curiosity, the same file was sent to and printed by 2 different printers. When I got them sent to me, I compared the quality of each. For those of you who thought there was no difference in inkjetters, I present exhibit A & B:

And no, that is not a trick of light and shadow. That is really how they look compared to each other. I do not feel it necessary to drop any names at this time, I just wanted to show you the differences. Amazing aren't they?

Which is the exact reason i would never again order or recommend anyone order art from the printer of exibit B. I know who printed that pile of shit

It's as if the 2nd one has that protective film over it. That's an amazing difference in quality. Is there a tactile difference as well?

At least share the printer of Exhibit A so no one here will end up with Exhibit B. Let's play guess. Okay let's not... ;-)

So does anyone wanna take a guess at who printed the pile o shit? It's worth a memorable night of love and phetty snacks from the originator of the post.

EDIT: Ok, my bad, back on point.... Good comparison. It definitely shows the difference of what people put in to there quality of work. I don't see how dealer B could send that to you and be happy with it.

Well this may be a hint, but I am pretty sure I saw exhibit A coming out of the printer.....

Exhibit A's creator would rather remain anonymous for legal reasons. Let's stop the guessing games. This thread was to show the difference in 2 items printed with the same method by 2 different printers. I believe it achieved that goal.

It's not Exhibit A that I'm worried about... I want to know who made 'B', or perhaps more aptly, it should be called #2...

So, just out of curiosity, did dealer A take the time to clean up your artwork? Make the blacks a true black? Or is this simply a representation of how bad dealer B's printing skills are?

Maybe printer B wanted to make sure the customer was satisfied with the printing? Maybe the only way to include all of the detail was to lighten up the printing until the trackball and buttons holes showed clearly?
