I was selling my op-wolf friday night to this dude i met on CL,He's actually trying to get on here but waiting for an admin to approve him.I talked to him for a long while and he got me down on my price, found out he lives in humble(about 30 min from me) with his wife and 3 kids.Well the op-wolf wouldnt fit in his montero so i offer to let the guy borrow my truck(i had been drinking and i dont drink and drive)so some stranger i met on CL takes off with my truck! His truck was still here so i knew he was coming back i was just hoping he didnt wreck it,well he didnt and about an hour and a half later brought my truck back unharmed.I know it wasnt the smartest thing to do but just goes to show that there are honest guy's out there.

On another note i went to check out a space invaders yesterday fully working and i turned it down, the guy wouldnt move off $275.00 and i was at $240.00. Whats a good price for a SI working in a soso cab?

Most people are honest like that. But I still wouldn't be loaning my truck out to random strangers. Actually, I might now that it's crapping out on me. It might get wrecked and replaced by my insurance then!

As for the SI....around here you can get them for $250 all day long working.

I've been looking for a truck. Hey, Lets go get us some drinks and Ill just borrow it. I'll let you keep my wife for collateral because I'd be making out on the better side LOL.

I would have gone for that. Most likely its because there is nothing around here. I do like SI a lot and had one that I never got to work. So, I would have thought that to be a good deal.

Oh, congrats on not having your truck stolen. :)

When I was 14 a friend and I swapped mopeds. I then watched him take a spill on mine right in front of me, luckily only bent the pedal crank.

His dad owned a tire store, so I took the crank off and one of his dad's techs heated it up and bent it back.

That was the last time I let anyone borrow/ride any motor vehicle of mine.
