'Sup dudes,
I never know where to put these questions but ah, here is just as good as any I suppose.
I'm in the middle of a few restores at the moment but the only real questions I have are about the Taito cab I'm doing. It's a Jungle King, I now have most of the parts to make it complete but..... I've been looking over the manual just to familiarize myself with the cab. I've noticed several things I am missing. They are mostly related to the control panel. The
manual shows a few wood pieces that appear to attach to the CP, I do not have these pieces, nor do I have the piece that attaches to the bottom of the bezel to keep it in place.

Does anyone have the dimensions of these pieces? Are they made from regular 3/4" plywood? What do you call the bezel thingy/bracket?
Also, what's up with the button size? I tried fitting regular 1 1/8" leaf buttons and they no fitty. Are they 1 1/16" like the lovely nintendo buttons?

Taito

It is 3/4'' and most of them use cabinet grade plywood. I am not near one to give you dimensions. Someone will chime in. The buttons probably have little index ears that are making them not fit.

On mine, the wood on the CP looks like MDF. I'll take measurements when I get home tonight. I don't think there is any wood at the top, it's just a metal bracket that holds the bezel. I'll check out the button size too and get you some pics.

There are 2 seperate pieces.. one that has 3 bolts thru it on the lower part of the CP that is MDF. It has large washers on the bolts to help hole the CP in place.
There us another strip, with 2 end pieces that go along the top and sides of the CP.. those pieces are made of plywood.

Tester, update your Wild Western thread with some pics of the final result. I heard you finally tracked down a decent bezel and marquee. :D

I should do that today.. its done so I really should finish it off.. Just its such a mess all around it with other crap going on.. Finished a Pac I should get a thread going on as well...
