I received a brand new 19" 19K7302 in the mail yesterday from Wells. Opening the box, I immediately noticed that the purity rings had come loose during shipment. The one closest to the tube was spinning freely, and the others were working their way loose.

Luckily, the prep tech had marked them with a white line before shipping, so I believe I can set things straight by lining them all back up again, but what about the whole assembly's orientation on the neck? I can't say for sure that ANY of the rings are in the original position, and I don't see any part of the marking extending to the neck glass itself. Is my only option to try all 360 degrees of rotation until I find the sweet spot, or is there some other tip someone can share to make this easier? Once I get things taken care of, is there a more effective way to secure the ring assembly?

The tube is warranted by WG for 30 days, so I can call tech support, but I figured I'd reach out to the community first. Thanks in advance for any help.

I spoke to John Pruski at Wells Gardner today. He tells me that his techs paint the rings on the bench before they crate them up. They always paint them along the top edge. So, I will align the assembly at 12 o'clock. We'll see how that looks.

Thanks for the manual link. Here's hoping I don't need it

Just wanted to update this thread -- I was able to re align the ring assembly using the painted line from the tech at WG, and placed the whole assembly at the 12 o clock position. Image looks great!
