My Firepower is almost done.
Instead of the SprayMax 2D Auto Clear I used on my last 2 games, I decided to use the famous Varathane Heavy Use Gloss (in the blue Rattle Can)

I sprayed 3 coats, hit it with 1000 then applied the 4th.
Looks really good!

Question is: Should I stop here? I have no problem spraying 20 coats if thats whats necessary.
Also, how long should I wait for this to cure before re-assembling and playing?

(I did a search but came up empty)

Thanks!

You should search on rec.games.pinball newsgroup. It has been discussed to no end. No offense, I'm just not sure what to tell you, but there's plenty of experience that has been discussed. Most actually favor automotive clearcoat these days.

Im using LED's in this game and didnt want to have insane reflections off of the ultra glossy auto clear. On thelast 2 games, it turned out amazing!

Hardwood floors have two coats. After that you will cause bubbles and more foreign debris than protection.

Then Im done...THANKS!
