Just curious on everyones thoughts on what a complete game room should consist of. Like among the classics, does every room need a driver, a fighting game, a shooter, a few pins? What makes your gameroom "complete"? Or what do you think you would need to make your arcade complete.

A stripper pole, some surgically enhanced ladies trying to make enough loot to pay for their deadbeat old man's habit, and coke. That's what makes a game room complete.

Shuddup jackpole. And no, its not 9:00 yet.

a well rounded collection of classics, modern drivers, shooters, pins, etc...

a juke and dartboard etc couldnt hurt either. A bar is a definate plus.

also it has to be at least painted up and .... BLACKLITES must be installed....

i just got done painting both of my games' rooms flat black celing to floor. I already have flourescent blacklites in.

ALl im missing is some blacklite paint to paint up some classic arcade caracters and then i still really really really want to get some of that el wire(electro-luminescent) so i can have some freaky desighs and stuff in "neon" on the celings....

Easy....a black and white room....;)

Got to have a Pac or Ms pac, Maybe a williams game, a few pins, a sitdown driver, etc...

descrentl did you get my PM about the tokens? I found a few more and may have some comming in soon. Wasn't sure how many you wanted.

I think this subject came up a few weeks back. Depending on available space I think one of every type helps round out the genres. For instance, my Gar-Cade is now complete and has a dual driver, a pin, a jamma cab, a 48-in-1 (for the classics), and a rampage (to fit the multi-person play).

its complete when your happy with it or you dont feel the need to buy or move anymore games around

So it's complete for the 30 seconds after getting that last one in and running before you go "well...if I moved some things around I could get another in here....."? :)

For some reason lately I've been thinking a change machine is a necessary part of a complete setup. Doesn't quite feel right without one. Ultimately though it really is a case by case thing depending on the person. For me it'd be a decent representation of the stuff I played in the 90s, including a couple classics, a few pins, that change machine and lighting that can be turned off completely. While I'm living in fantasyland, I'd also like a pony. :)

Though I already had Karate Champ in my arcade I was amazed at how much difference it made when I also put a Mortal Kombat it in. Though I never played the game in the 90's it really does tie in the history of the great arcade age of the 80's. MK was like the last breath for that true arcade experience before the redemption games took over.

agreed. In my opinion, there should be at least 1 mortal kombat.
