A/C Ripple Galaxian Cocktail

I picked up a Galaxian cocktail machine locally yesterday. I swapped in a spare G07 I had to get it going. After a few minutes, it has severe A/C ripple and a loud feedback type noise emits from the speaker. After maybe 10 seconds or so, the sound and ripple are gone. This happens intermittently during game play.

Any ideas where to start with this one?

I fixed this very issue on a Galaxian cocktail way back in 2004.

I swapped out the fuse blocks in the bottom of the cabinet and made sure the edge connector was corrosion free.
