93422a RAM ... 1024x4 or 256x4 ... standard vs A grade

Working on a Zaxxon board and I have a few questions about the 93422a RAM.

The Zaxxon manual states 93422a RAM is 1024x4 but the datasheet indicates it is 256x4. I believe it is 256x4 (1k), but can someone please confirm? See manual.jpg and datasheet.jpg.

The A indicates A grade and based on the datasheet the A grade chip seems to be a little faster in some instances. Will the standard 93422 work fine in a Zaxxon board even though it calls for an A grade chip? See orderinfo.jpg and perf.jpg.

Thanks

I cant imagine that would make a difference. The system reads EPROMS which are much slower with no wait states.

But, when in doubt, stick with the spec.

Thanks Chris. Any idea where I could find a 93422A RAM chip? I couldn't find one online.

Also, am I correct in my assumption that the Zaxxon manual incorrectly identifies these chips as 4k instead of 1k?

Thanks Riptor ... I won't need that RAM as the problem with my Zaxxon board turned out to be a bad 2114 ...
