$900 Neo Geo with two common games on Austin Craigs

(not mine)

SNK Neo Geo Arcade Machine w/2 games. Cabinet is in great shape, a few dings, but it was used in an arcade for years, board is flawless. Can be run on automatic or from quarters, have key for quarter drop, but not for the marquee. HAven't run it on quarters in awhile but we can test it out if that part interests you Games are Puzzle Bobble and Fatal Fury. Make a reasonable offer., thanks

not worth $900 as I can get neos like that all day long for $400-$600

agreed. I figured someone who wanted a Neo in central texas could contact the guy and offer him a proper price for it. I once saw one for like $1600 on craigs. I dont know where these people get their prices from.

usually inflated ebay prices. I do want a Neo but not for anything close to $1K

I bought a 2 slot big red MVS (which needed a little work admittedly) for something like $150 on craigs here in Austin. Then a few months later I found a Neo25 candy with a 4 slot in it and like 8 carts inside for $250.

$900 - he's dreamin'.

Yeah, MVS are funny that way. You can get them all day long in the 100-500$ range, 600-700$ for a minty one, but if you have a nice game catalog you can get much more just parting out the entire thing than you can selling it.

There is one right now in Huntsville (not sure on condition) for 150$.

Although for the MVS candy for 250$ with 8 games... damn, I would have picked that up even if I already had my big red :D Heck, I almost picked up a second big red just because of the games he was offering with it.

Yeah I got REAL lucky with that one, admittedly. That little cab is NEVER leaving my possession. Might sell my other candy at some point the future, but the Neo25 might as well be chained to my wrist, it was too good a deal, lol.
