83 Chexx help (need wiring pics)

You have to wrap your images with

tags in order for them to be seen.

No, the arrows are both going up. It just looks like the down arrow is going down from that angle. Look at the 2nd pic; I reversed the heavy wire.

You caught me before the edit! I figured it out.

OK, I give up on this power supply. The transformer has to be bad. Installed the diodes the right way, installed the cap according to your picture and it still blows fuses (actually a 2amp breaker since I got tired of killing fuses). I put the meter on AC and I get everything from 17v to 6v AC on the red wires, this thing has to be trash. I guess I need to track down a new power supply/transformer.
