82HS137 - anyone sell any or equivalent?

I'll have to check stock... I know I have 82S137, but not sure what the suffix is, if any. The difference is the speed.

82S137 - 60ns max access time
82S137A - 45ns max access time

82HS137 - 45ns max access time
82HS137A - 35ns max access time

I do have to wonder what the speed of the circuit you are using is and if 15ns of speed would make that much of a difference in it.

They're the PROMs for an I, Robot. The ones I had in were corroded to hell. Pulled one out and 'pop' went a few pins. I could machine socket it back together but thought I'd sniff around for replacements.

You were one of the first places I checked, Riptor. ;) Those NOS Atari non-LED buttons are awesome. Missile Command plays brand spanking new!

Thanks!

Sorry Juan, the day job has had me scrambling and I haven't had time to do squat in the shop.

heh... I called them and a few other suppliers which all apparently share the same database. Those 6 82HS137's are in Europe and would cost roughly $90.00 a piece to send over. :)

No joke...

Yeah. I checked on a different chip and got a polite email saying they had a minimum $400 order. So I could buy the two chips I wanted, but....

Dicks. They have 600+ in their inventory, but they don't want to sell to anybody other than big time distributors. Fat chance on unloading those extinct chips. I don't think anybody is ever going to oder enough to make their minimums, so those chips will eventually just get thrown out for taking up space....
