For some reason, this morning I was thinking about 80's PSAs like Willie Survive and O.G. Readmore. I ran into a mental block that you guys might be able to help me with. When I was 6 (1981) and in the Tiger Cubs, we toured the local fire station. They made us watch some fire safety propaganda film. There was some kid trying to escape from a burning house. The wierd part is that I seem to remember there being a Pac-Man poster on the wall. Does anybody remember this? Can somebody please clue me in as to the name of this thing or anything else that happened in it? Its bothered me for years. Maybe I can finally get it out of my head. Thanks.

P.S. Watch some of those old PSAs, its prety trippy.

I can't help you with your fire safety PSA, but you dislodged a memory of mine about a PSA shown on TV around 1981.

The tag line was "Don't be a draggin' lady", and it showed a teenage girl smoking and grossing out all her friends. The final scene was the girl standing in front of a row of arcade games, and I recall Cosmic Avenger being the one directly behind her. I'd love to see that one again.

Wow! That was even cheesier than the ones I was thinking of. I watched a couple of School House Rock. Nothing like "Conjunction, conjunction, what's your function?"

I remember that one. There were posters for it too. She was caked in black tar....I think?
