My wife's best friend held an 80's themed party for her Husband's birthday in my Arcade this past weekend. One of the guys there was mesmerized. He played every single game at least once, asking me about the ones he never played before pressing start. Just thought I'd share some pics from the event:

Nice! I lurvs 80's parties. I have my denim Z Cavaricci jeans and INXS KICK concert tee ready to go whenever I hear about one! :D

Looks like a cool turnout by the pics.

Are you a shoe Nazi by chance? I noticed many people there are walking sans shoes. I always hated going to a party, when once there I had to remove my shoes. That would always be the day I wore my Tinkerbell socks too.

But seriously, looks like it was a fun time. Thanks for bringing back some tubular outfits.

...I'm willing to bet Phet is just one of those foot fetish freaks or something. No?

My games aren't in my garage.

looks like some people didn't get the 80's memo. you should've had a bouncer checking clothes at the door.

btw, what was yr costume, shawn?

Looks like a lot of fun! But why is everyone just standing around talking? They should be playing all those awesome games.

Nice! One of the cool things about the hobby for me seeing someone's reaction to my collection. Having friends over to play the games makes it a lot more fun too. The only thing that sucks is when a game starts acting up during a gathering, which my Frogger kinda did Saturday. Since I only had 3 friends over that have been here before I took a second to fix what was luckily a small problem.

Funny you mention that. My Popeye went down for no apparent reason. First casualty i've ever had during a party. Weird thing is, people kept asking me if it worked. "IT USED TO DAMMIT!!!" I finally screamed as I backhanded the 5th guy that asked me.

True dat. Nice setup inside your home, everything looks top notch. Most people who walk onto my carpets when they come over for a party are allowed to keep shoes on, but there are some dudes who show up wearing shoes that look like they're covered in Sasquatch ass. Believe you me, they're told to take those things off.

I'm cool with tennies in the Summer, but Winter and Spring can be pretty wet and messy around these parts. My carpet would be ruined after one party if my wife didn't have her 'rule'.

My biggest fear is a breakdown. The joystick on my ms. PAC started acting up at my last party and everyone kept telling me. I was like shut up!!!
