I found this at the San Diego Comic Con this year just about a half-hour before the show closed. It is the original pencil storyboard for the opening title sequence of the Saturday Supercade Donkey Kong cartoon show. It's the most expensive thing I bought this year (And to be quite honest, I was already pretty broke when I found it), but definitely my favorite. I'm eventually going to frame and hang the set in my game room, but thought I should scan them first and share them with my fellow KLOVers.

You can see the finished animation based on this storyboard here: https://youtu.be/fO1LOmj7jvc

That is awesome. I am curious of the price but I understand it's not something to be open about all of the time I guess. Beautiful though. Definitely frame it ASAP.

:)

That is awesome. I am curious of the price...

I paid $150 for the whole set. Honestly, I thought $25 per storyboard page wasn't unreasonable since it is actual pencil line art and not photocopied. I did however see a vendor selling production animation cells from Dragon's Lair for around $800 per page. THAT I felt was a bit overpriced and certainly out of my budget. ;)
