Do any of you have any good ideas for album art that might grace an 80's arcade? I went looking and didn't find much at my local Half Price Books!

I have a ton of 12 inch LP covers at home. Journey has some of the better ones, Huey Lewis - Sports is a classic, as is Appetite for Destruction, Back in Black, Who Made Who, Ride the Lightning, Kill em All, the Ghost Busters soundtrack, Iron Maiden albums, anything from Van Halen, Purple Rain and Def Leppard Hysteria.

I'm very surprised that Duran Duran's "RIO" wasn't the first reply. (everyone knows that one; it's not on the attachments)

I'd also go with "Get Lucky" from Loverboy, "Spring Session M" from Missing Persons, "Pleasure Victim" from Berlin. "Shock" by the Motels has a good "80's" image, but isn't the group's best album. If you want to get a bit on the deep side, look for the 12" single of "Fade to Grey" by Visage. (the attachment on this post is from their best of CD, but is the same image on the 12")

Although it's not 80's music, I feel the artwork is relevant. "Vector" EP from Hexstatic.

I have GNR - Appetite for Destruction, Poison - Open Up and Say Ahh, Motley Crue - Too Fast For Love, Pretty Boy Floyd - Leather Boyz w/ Electric Toyz, Def Leppard - Hysteria, KISS - Alive II...
As you've probably guessed, I grew up watching an apalling amount of MTV when I was a youngster. I try to pretend the 90's never happened.

Boston and Devo. Sure, you might not like either one for music but they have good covers...

No mention yet of pac man fever by Buckner and Garcia? And what about 80's movie sound tracks like tron and the black hole. Possibly war games,.
