8 bit wall decals at Ikea

Woops thought I put that - $10. I picked up a set, but no time to mess with em right now. They were in the poster/picture area.

That's pretty cool, especially for $10, though very generic. I guess it keeps them from paying royalties, but I'd rather stick Space Invaders or Asteroids on my wall rather than some odd Berzerk looking guy, bottom of flask looking space ship, or whatever.

I am pretty sure they are Atari 2600 characters. Pretty cool...

I don't recognize any of those characters... any games that you can name? The robots look similar to Berzerk, but the legs look totally wrong. The helicopters maybe look similar to River Raid or something.

With the exception of Kaboom and Warlords I haven't played any 2600 games in a couple of decades. The tire tread pattern looks very familiar (Indy 500) and the Bezerk-ish robot looks familiar too, but I think I may be confusing him with a TI game where you traveled through a maze looking for a monster. That game had hearts and other feminine characters as well.

I believe these are SPÄC INVDRS

LOL.

I always make fun of some of the names they put on things...some of them are one letter away from being profanity in some cases :)

Hoping over the weekend to test out the decals...going to decorate the arcade bathroom with em. They do look kinda like Atari sprites with just enough change to not warrant copyright issues. The ship in the pic looks like the tanks in combat.
