what is the easiest way to tell if an eight ball action was converted from a dkjr or dk board set? and how easy is it to convert back? (just need roms?)

Just adding to the list--when I converted my DK Jr back from 8 ball action, I had to remove a daughter card that was in the CPU slot and replace it with a Z80 CPU.

Is there a list of needed chip types for this? And, can I burn these on my EMP-10?

I have about 4 of these boards that I want to convert back.

You can (probably) burn the EPROMs with that.....you definately can not burn the PROMs with that.

Ok, I guess I got it backwards, you can convert a DK or DK Jr to 8 Ball Action but you need a DK Jr board if you want to convert to a DDK.:D
Board must be Donkey Kong Junior (Sorry, modification cannot be done on regular Donkey Kong boards or Donkey Kong 3 boards)

That can be done on DK too... just requires more work... it's a huge hack as it is -- they really needed to put more daughterboards in, instead of hacking up the board...
