I never heard of this game, but for a $75 25" Dynamo cabinet, I figured I'd risk it.
Plays blind, chassis has a blown fuse and magic smoke was released from the diode area when the fuse was replaced. Betting no isolation transformer at some point in the past.

So inspection of the machine revealed 2 power supplies, both with 110v applied, but only 1 hooked up to the harness. The tube is missing the plastic key around the neck pins....
Already removed the extra power supply.

Is there any demand for the "Surf Planet" game? Looks to be a no-sale on Ebay for the most part. YouTube shows a decent looking game, any fun to play?

QUESTION:
Can the TUBE be damaged if someone plugs the neckboard in wrong?

Anyway, I need to either repair the 25K7000 chassis or replace, just afraid to repair, then hook to a damaged tube if someone plugged the neckboard in wrong. Pins look straight, so I'm hoping it's OK. Any way to test without special equipment?

I have a spare 25" RCA tube, but have no idea what model Chassis would work with it.

Will Post Pictures when I get a chance.

Not any love out there for Surf Planet??
Decent subwoofer installed on the slide-out drawer.
Not too bad a price for the cabinet just gotta get the monitor fixed up.
Pulled the chassis, it's seen better days.

I am glad the control panel is a fighter layout under the conversion, good for the post-Surf Planet days coming.!
Anyway, pictures!

I have a surf planet as well. Mine was in a huge 3koam cab. Demand? Probably not much. Fun? Meh. Controls consist of left or right. Sound like fun? Not quite as complex as defender :) But hey, $75 for a cab is still good. Maybe you could drag it.to some ski resort and sell it.
