it looked okay.. but the pic did seem to show some issues with the sprites, but that may have been the camera. if it were within 30 minutes from me, i would have it. but i dont have that kind of time to shoot up there after getting home from work.
The white paint on the cabinet sides was painted with house paint and a paint brush in thick, THICK coats. The control panel is bent pretty bad on both sides. The track ball feels like it was taken apart and not put back together correctly. The sound doesn't work. The AR board has a resistor held on by duct tape(which I'm 99% sure is why the sound doesn't work). The front side of the cabinet has a chunk missing on the bottom. And there's mouse poop and hair everywhere.
On the plus side, the PCB appears to be working fine from what I can tell(minus sound and track ball control but I think those are not PCB related issues). After being adjusted, the GO7 monitor actually looks pretty nice with only a slight Centipede burn. The glass marquee and glass bezel are both pretty nice. The cardboard bezel is also pretty nice.
I did figure out what the duct tape was for this afternoon on my lunch break... someone must have broken off one end of the 10w resistor on the ARII and instead of soldering it back on, they just used duct tape to hold the resistor down.
