I got a 720 today. It was in a storage unit out in the middle of nowhere and had been sitting for a few years. No back doors but otherwise complete.

The tokens inside indicate that it was used at a local mini golf course and at The Reagan Years arcade.

I replaced the switching power supply and also reattached the wires that were chewed up by the rats that were living in it. I fired it up and it actually works.

The only problem is that the monitor looks very "washed out" and adjusting the controls does not help. The red is barely noticable and the picture seems kind of dim. I am not familar with the monitor but is this something that can be fixed with a cap kit and should I replace the flyback at the same time? I noticed that Chad is selling these.

Thanks for the help.

If the flyback has little bitty cracks showing around the focus and brightness controls, then I'd replace it while you rebuild it...

It looked okay. I'll try the cap kit and see what happens.

Thanks for the reply.
