Hey all-
Okay here is the deal- I recently acquired a Neotec NT2501. I know this came out of a working NFL Blitz machine. I am trying to hook it up to my 720 machine, and it seems to roll Horizontally and Vertically. I know my 720 PCB works, as the original monitor syncs up fine. So I think the pinout or sync is different on the Neotec. I tried to combine both the horizontal and vertical syncs, and it made no difference. Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do?
Thanks in advance!

I had been trying to sync my Super Sprint to a 38" monitor that was med res compatible and I could get the picture to stop rolling, but it was shifted to one side, the right. Otherwise, the picture was really nice. Because the chassis on this monitor only accepted composite sync, I swapped the pins on the connector to output that from the video board.

If you figure anything out let me know.

Thanks,

Chris

I got it figured out!! Hopefully this info can help somebody else out in the future. (and perhaps other Atari System II games) Looking through the schematics on the game, I found that J19 pin 6 on the video PCB, has composite video sync! The problem is that the harness has no wires running to this pin on P19 pin6. So I replaced the connector, and added the pin 6 and ran it to the monitor video connector. On the monitor I removed the horizontal and vertical Sync wires, and placed the composite sync in pin 6 of the video cable going to the monitor. Problem solved!

See my post 5 up, I talk about the composite sync and rewiring the connector. Though my monitor would sync, I couldnt get the image to center on the screen.

Thanks,

Chris
