Just letting you all know that the 720 controller project has been progressing somewhat. I've been updating the project blog with more photos and comments.

Check it out.

P.S. I'll be updating the SW Yoke blog with a bunch of new pictures and comments sometime soon, too.

Yep, that's me doing all those reproduction parts. Luckily, I have at my disposal just about every kind of metal/plastic working machine needed to make most of the parts used in arcade games, so it's not that much trouble.

Dave

I checked out the link and wow dude, is that you doing all that, recreating all those parts.

Wonderfull, you will be a live saver to a lot of 720 owners just like Steve 23 is to OutRun owners as he produced the gear.

Well you the man, really just like Steve 23 is, he even send the gear to Holland:)

So you are doing all that repro?? WOW, even if you have all the machinery (HOW can you have all those machines?) then it would still cost time and effort etc etc.. You must love 720, I am sure.
I have no 720, I only watched friends play 720 back in the day and played it occasionaly, 720 was a machine that you will never forget, it is a arcade machine that belongs in the top 5 of all times IMO, without 720 back then it wouldn't have been the same.

I think that it is GREAT what you are doing, really awesome!!

Sonny,

You really should go to his main site and look at all the other things he has already done and has available as well as the other projects he is working on. ;)

Yeah I did and checked it out, WOW I'm amazed big time.
So much love for the game, don't know what to say.

That reminds me, it's about time I publish the paperboy controller blog that I've been working on. Just another in a long time of reproduction projects, though I've kept this one mostly on the down low for the life of the project. I've managed to get a good portion of it completed in a relatively short period of time, too.

I'm really looking forward to the lower housings getting done! The other parts I've gotten from you have already breathed a lot of life back into my 720. Keep up the good work.
