720 Ariel Experience/Glass Retainer Metal Dimensions

Hey all, in the midst of my 720 restore and I think the previous owner fabbed up a replacement glass retainer (Ultimate Aerial Experience) piece and I think they made it a little too big.

Can anyone measure their metal piece for me? Just want to make sure I need to trim where I think I do per my picture below. A measurement of the top from the back to the bend and then from the bend to the front thinner piece.

Thanks for any help.

if you turn it over so the sticker is not facing you and measure it I get 3 1/2 inches overall

2 7/8 to the bend and then 3/4

hope this helps

Beautiful, exactly what I was needing. Now I can cut the piece I have to that size. One small question, how flimsy is the metal for your bracket? Is it like sheet metal/thin or a good solid piece? Mine is pretty thin so I want to make sure I don't need to go make a new one from better metal.

Thanks Chad!

solid piece of metal, same thickness as the boom box and cpo.

hope this info helps.
