720 Arcade - Cambridge MA

No one from the board, alas. What with the holiday, work, etc. none of you fine folks were able to pick it up.

My spouse found a taker at work, who came and picked it up this morning. Unfortunately, tragedy struck as we were moving it out of the house. It toppled down the porch stairs, destroying the CRT and doing a lot of damage to the cab. I didn't get a chance to see if there was physical damage to the PCBs.

A tear just rolled down my cheek. So sad. :(

What!!!!

That's not cool at all, man. I wrote you on Monday and offered to pick it up that same day or anytime Tuesday or today Wednesday. I never got a response and now the game is a pile of rubble?!?! WTF.

WOW....it's hard to hear that an easily restored 720 just got destroyed.

Wtf?????? :( :( :(!!!!!!!!
I would have thrown myself under it before I let that happen, this f**king sucks, my day was just ruined! :( For christ's sake don't let the SOB throw it out now if he intends to, one of us will find a way to restore it! ARGHFUCKSHITWHAAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAA!!!!!!!! <very sad>

Hope you got paid first.....

Granted 720 is heavy, why wasnt it strapped and / or proper crew to move it?

When I had mine I had a mexican literally strap it to his back and carry it up the stairs.... I was amazed.

This is a very interesting turn of events. Can it be true???? I mean in this day and age????

NOOOoooooo!!!!!!!!

What happened to the 5 Klovers that were standing in line to pick this treasure up?

Did the girlfriend throw it off the porch?

Unbelievable. This co-worker obviously doesn't know how to move games. He'll never find a 25" med res tube so he might as well part it out to people here. I'm sure the cab it also f-ed because if it fell hard enough to break the tube, it fell hard enough to break the particleboard. An absolute shame...

Mate, such a great game to boot that's tragic news....well if you decided to part it out i'll take the pcbs and wiring harness for a good price!!

I actually stated the same about quick pickup. I could have picked it up anytime before Thanksgiving. I was told: "There are a few people in line ahead of you". Unbelievable.....
