This is one of my all-time favorite games and my first attempt at a restoration.
For the most part, this game is in good shape. Things I will be doing to it include..
Removing the old vinyl
Fixing holes and such with Bondo
Applying new vinyl (from Rich at This Old Game)
Applying new sideart
Replacing the CPO
Replacing the boombox art
Replacing the '720º The Ultimate Aerial Experience' banner
This is what the game looked like before..
As you can see in the photos above, I started filling in the holes on the front with dowels.
I continued pulling the vinyl off. This took quite a while. I just used a heat gun and heated an area and gently (yet firmly) pulled the vinyl off. I had to be careful not to get the edge I was pulling too hot and have it pull off before I was done.
