So here's my story with Aaron. A few months ago I bought a Donkey Kong from him. Looked to be in great shape, really fair price. Had it shipped to me. Sat around most of the day waiting for it to show up. So it finally gets here, unpack it, the game looks fantastic. I call him and tell him it arrived and that it looks great, he tells me to give him a call if I need anything. Get the game plugged in, turn it on, fires up. So at that point i'm pretty excited to get to playing. Start the game, and within about twenty seconds the screen fades out to black. Hmm, that doesn't seem good. Turn it off and back on. Same thing. And after a few of those it stops showing anything on the screen at all. I call him back and he walks me through checking a few things, nothing helps. I post on here and Dokert has me look at some different stuff, replacing fuses etc. Eventually he says it seems as though the flyback failed. I'm pretty crushed at this point. Then Aaron gets a hold of me and says he has another Sanyo monitor. He says he's gonna send it to Arcade Cup and get it bulletproofed and will have Chad send it to me. He says for me just to send the broken one back when I get the new one. So I ask him what the damage is on that, and he says not to worry about it, that he'll take care of the cost. So i'm pretty floored at that. His thought was: "you didn't have a warranty or anything but I think you deserve more than twenty seconds." Chad seems pretty backed up, so it took about two months to get it back. Finally it shows up from UPS last Saturday. When I get some time on Sunday I call Aaron and for well over an hour he walks me step by step through taking out the old chassis and putting the new one in. I'm sure for many of you guys that's a pretty easy task. But for someone who has never done it, it's pretty daunting. Aaron, made it seem pretty simple and when all the steps were done the thing fired up and I had PICTURE! I ended up b.s.ing with him for awhile on the phone. I've gotta say, I never would've expected someone to be so helpful and understanding. I cannot give him a higher recommendation. If he is selling something you are looking for, rest assured that he's an A+ #1 kind of guy. I told him at one point that he has made a customer for life. At this point I would gladly pay a little more for a game from him than a cheaper one from someone else. Aaron has more than earned my business and respect.
