I dug this out of storage today. It appears to be an early 70's Midway coin door. Can anyone tell me what game this could have come from?

I can't see the pics....Is it brown? GunFight has a brown door with a red start button between the coin insert slots.

Space Invaders maybe? I have one of those on my Tron, but I don't know if it is original.

Midway coin doors from that era typically had the "Credit" button and an indentation with rivet holes for the Midway name plate.

A few other companies (Exidy, Ramtek, etc.) used coin doors made by Vendall that didn't necessarily have those features.

correct as above

After taking another look at it, I agree it appears not to be a Midway door. I do like the coin shoots and capped corners on this door over the Midway style.

i could use this door if its not bent where the lock hole is.
pm me!!

The easy way to tell if you have a Vendall Machines knock-off of a Midway door is to look at the coin entry troughs. If they have three holes in them it's a Vendall door. The entry troughs are also narrower than Midway's.

If the slam switch has a fiber/bakelite back to it, then you've got a Vendall. Midway used a shiny metal back.
