Sorry to ask this here, but I can't think of the best place to put such a question.

I'm in the UK and currently thinking of selling the 6809 (also simulates the 6809E) pod for my Fluke 9010A (I hardly ever use that pod).

It works just fine, but am curious to know what I should sell it for. Once I know then I'll put it up for sale here (or maybe on Ebay).

Thanks

I sold one for $350 shipped in the USA back in July if that helps. Of course the usual caveat of supply and demand......:)

All kidding aside this is excellent trading material. If you are in need of some arcade parts, etc., that you have been having a hard time obtaining, here's your chance to get items of equal value. This is a highly sought after item and I still get pms asking me if I have it for sale.

Just to go a bit OT, but will this 6809 pod also work with the Fluke 9000A ? I only ask out of interest, as when I was Googling a few days ago some old hits listed a 6809 pod for the 9000A.

Same question applies to any Fluke 9010A pods really - for example, I also have 8080, Z80 and 6502 pods (sorry, not for sale). :)

As far as I know the pods are interchangeable between the 9000 and 9010 units.

Let me know if LeChuck falls through. I have been starting to look for pods for 6809 and 6800s. I bought a fluke 9000 off eBay and I should really get a pod to see if it is working.

I've only skimmed the manuals, but the pods appear to be for the entire series (hence the naming scheme - 9000A-xxxx).

Ken - Do you know what the differences are between the 9000A and 9010A base units?

Noted, thanks.

If LeChuck (where's Guybrush? ;) ) changes his mind I'll let you know. :)

10.

Seriously, the 9010a is an updated version of the 9000a. I am not sure what features it added. Everything I have read indicates that the two are mostly interchangeable.

Mines a 9000 I think (thats what the display says..). Can the 9010 handle addresses larger then 16 bit? The scripts on quarterarade for major havoc use addressing in the 10000-18FFF range. My 9000 doesnt like addresses > FFFF. I know thats paged ROM, but not really sure how to test it..

I *think* the 9000A is not scriptable...you can only manually input commands or something like that. The 9010 is scriptable.

Man I'd love some 6800 pods too but $$ is tight right now.

The 9010a operator's manual shows the possible address ranges going up to atleast 32-bits (determined by the pod). It is also normal for the 9010a to display a "FLUKE 9000" power-up self test message.
