62256 SRAM - modern (DIP) equivalent ?

Are there any modern equivalents for the 62256 ('skinny') S-RAM 256K (32K * 8) in a DIP style case, ie not SMD?

Intended use is of course on arcade PCBs of various ages.

Thanks

Plenty... Look at the 32k x 8 Cache Ram from 486 boards. ;)

All they are... are ultra fast versions of a 62256.

The Mouser part number above is an SMT part ... don't use that one.

OOPS ! Indeed it is !!

They don't have a skinny DIP in that part # but the IDT part is definitely DIP.

GPE's parts are cheaper as well.
