I just got this from Smalltownguy2 and I was wondering about the wire gauage.
All are weither 18 or 22 gauge wire he thinks.
But the original Star Wars 6100 (third pic on right) has thee wires supplying the 50v and 35v to power the monitor and they are much thicker than the one smalltownguy2.

Will this extension handle the current?

I don't know about any 35V power to the monitor, but I do see 50VAC (CT). The manual (TM-183) has a power specification of 150W @ 50VAC at full deflection (i.e. worst-case). So we can estimate the current as 150/50= 3A (RMS). I suppose it could be a little higher, depending on the power factor.

The ampacity of wire isn't easy to nail down. It depends on a number of factors and assumptions. For 22 AWG wire, I see numbers as low as about 1A, and as high as 7A. For 18 AWG wire, I see 2.3A to 16A.
