So my 6100 caps crapped out nothing earth shattering about that. Of course it took out the low voltage section. After the caps are replaced I can hear deflection chatter and no picture. From the flow chart it looks like the LV is out.

I am trying to figure if I upgrade to the LV2000 do I need to replace anything in the LV section?

Also

Why do I want to spend more money on the LV2000 as opposed to the LV2000 lite?

And

Does anyone make the LV6100 anymore?

The LV6100 or LV2000 replaces everything in the LV section so you will be removing and not replacing parts in the LV section. Mark Spaeth still stocks and sells the LV6100 as far as I know.

The LV2000 lite doesn't have the adjustment knobs for adjusting the voltage if you ever need to. If you're okay with that, get the lite...
