Im looking to build a 60 n 1 machine... Ive been out of the loop for a few years... I know back when they first came out there were issues with the life span of them... Is one brand better than another or is pretty much one company putting them together.... Any advice on who and where to pick one up from would be great.... Thanks, Matt

Highly recommend the new ArcadeSD board over the 60-in-1's. Check the thread here for full details. Better emulation, growing game list, and far better support for 8-way joystick (locks out diagonals on 4-way games so they're nicely playable, unlike the 60-in-1's).

The ArcadeSD board is available from Phoenix Arcade. More info here: http://www.phoenixarcade.com/ArcadeSD.htm

Steven I looked into those and its a bit more than I need and can figure out... Im into the classics and the 60 n 1 has it pretty much cover other than the x-y games..... I have a tempest to take care of that... Thanks guys for your input... I went ahead and ordered one from NIXS here on the board... Thanks Matt

Paradise Arcade website or check out NIXS here on KLOV.

Typically the newest boards with direct hookups for trackball are running a hair over $100 shipped. I need to grab one myself actually...
