I am wondering about hooking a trackball up to a 60 in 1. I seem to recall someone saying that some trackball boards will work and some won't. Is this true?

If so, can you tell by looking at them which ones play nicely? I have a trackball to hook up, but just realized that this might be an issue.

Track balls with red optical boards will work with the 60 in 1.
Any others might or might not, they need to be tried to find out.
If you have the 60 in 1 with track ball support then get a harness to hook it directly to the board.
Bob Roberts has them for $11.00.

The newer boards have a pin output on the board for a trackball to plug in. Otherwise you have you run a trackball through the 2P controls on the Jamma harness.

Do you know what the spacing is on the 60 in 1 trackball headers? I make all of my own cables and I want to make sure I have the right connector for that.

I assume it is .156 or .1.

I'm pretty sure it is .1 but not positive.

and I have used both red and green board trackball's and never had an issue.

guys say that the green don't work, so be prepared if you have a green one.

whassup bud, you been to my place john's pizza lately?

I have green ones, so I will take my chances and replace them if I need to.

Nah, the pizza at Johns sucks these days. We are getting a pizza factory though, so I am pretty stoked about that.
