There is a CP from the Arcadeshop and It has perfect adapter to plug in with jamma harness with label says trackball. I am assuming this harness is from arcades shop and it looks fine.

I run test mode and all buttons works.. 4 way joysticks works too.. Tested with trackball cursor and it moves but opposite ways which bothers me but i think maybe the trackball is being upside down.and it would solve my problem..

When i hit in game mode and plays centipede. I cant use trackball.. it s not responding however the joystick works.

i checked test mode and noticed it s in cocktail mode.. i changed to upright 1 player and still get same result.

advise? thanks

How is the trackball connected to the game board - thru the JAMMA harness or through then CON3 connector on the board?

There is a way to change the movement of the trackball in the test menu by swapping the directional signals, although remounting would work, too.

If it works in the input test screen (last screen of test menu) then it should work in gameplay. Where did you get your board? I think someone else had this issue recently and thought the board was a bootleg copy of the regular one and was the cause of the issue...

nevermind. it worked after i rebooted!. weird shit lol..

its connected to jamma directly .. as player 2 i believe.

thanks for the help mod! i just switched upside down and trackball works perfectly!
