I set up a 60 in 1 jamma board with an LCD monitor. The video on the screen was odd. The best way to describe it was like small waves going behind the graphics. I replaced the card and my problem was solved. I recently had the same issue again with a different card, monitor and power supply, but it was intermittent. I could restart the machine and it worked fine about 30% of the time. I have eliminated the possibility of a faulty cord or a faulty monitor.
Could the power supply be causing this? If the voltage isn't exactly right, could the video be affected? The voltage was the only thing I didn't check when these issues came up.
I still have the two cards and I would like to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for any help.
