60-in-1 machines always available for sale on CL for ridiculous prices

I continually see all these arcade machines with 60 in 1s on craigslist available and wondering if they really sell for that much? Anyone know? I can't imagine they sell for the prices posted but they must or else they wouldn't be continually posted.

No wonder mine always go super fast for $500-$600. Stupid, stupid me.

Though that is a hell of a lot more than I paid for it.

Yep sold one for 1600 last night...

Can you post any pictures of what the machines look like? Typically, in central Ohio I see the games posted and selling around $800 - $900. Yes, there are a few guys asking sky high prices but the supply of machines below $1,000 appears to be enough to satisfy demand.

I sell lots of em. 1800 plus or minus

Around here I continue to see the same ones with the same prices, so unless they're just using stock pictures I can't imagine they're selling any.

All I can say to this is.. WOW!

I'm going to have to second the WOW! I am amazed but I guess people that don't know about it and don't have games able to support are probably as excited as I was to first find out I could stick in a multi board in a game to have it play more games.

Question for those who sell 60 in 1 cabs: Do they sell better with the original CRT monitor or with an LCD replacement?

I have sold a few although never for anything near $1500. I'm selling my father's 48-in-1 right now. We have it listed for $600 and we have three people who have each stated they would drive over for it and are just waiting on my father's response as to when he is available.

Most people who buy these have no idea of the difference. But when I make mine, I only use CRT monitors. I try use use arcade monitors, but 20" - 21" VGA PC monitors work real well. Some PC monitors are a pain to use though because the guts are installed in the plastic housing, which I always remove. Getting them remounted in the arcade cabinet is a bit tricky.

Guess I might as well join the club. Going to sell my big blue and farm out some 60-in1000$-in-my-pocket. If these things are really selling for that I'm going to make some money too and pay off some bills for a few hours of work.

Good luck with your sale. Just keep off my turf!
Jk :)

Feel free to give CEC_DFW and I our cuts on your sales!

I was at the Arcade auction in Kingsport Tn last month, and they were selling those machine for AT LEAST $500. The worst crappy conversion you can imagine too. I saw one that had spray painted black marquee on it and it sold for that. Burned in screen and all. The bigger money on the crappy ones were ones in Pac/Ms Pac Cabs. They pulled about $700 +

Anybody that had the skill to put one in a machine, did, it looked like to me.

The BIG money went to the brand new machines with trackballs. Somebody had a bunch of what looked like MsPac/Galaga cabs brand new with shinny new trackballs. The side art and CPO's were like dedicated machines. The color scheme was greenish over black. Lots of all the characters on the side, like Pac Man, space invader graphics, etc.

They went for over $1300-$1800. I think they had LCD monitors. And they came with a warranty, too. So that helped I'm sure.

But they were brand spanking new. I thought they were very nice. I wouldn't buy one, as I'm cheap as hell and I could probably make 3 or 4 from the junk I have.

Used to be that they avoided all those games because Namco actually came in and pulled some out in '06 or '07 as I recall.

People are SO dumb and buy that shit!!!

I can't believe the prices I see people selling 60-in-1 on CL near me! And they ruin so many games in the process.
