Hey guys, just put in my first 60 in 1 and love it. Only problem is there is no sound. I know it has to be something dumb but I am not seeing the problem.

First, sound is enabled and turned up to 50% in the boards settings. Second, the two speaker connections on pins 10 and L are connected directly to the speaker. Is this the correct way to hook this up, does the board drive the sound or does it need an amp?

There is an orange pot on the board that controls the volume also.

if i cad the sound is on screen turn dip4 on started game scroll through list 2nd to last. if you have two white wires going to speakers it wrong one whit and take a black ground manual is wrong

Yes it is the 60-1 icade small board. I followed the manual and have two white wires going to the speakers. So are you saying to take either of the whites to the speaker and the other speaker connection to ground?

Also, I tried the orange pot and it is no help. Still no sound.

Plug in some headphones in the sound jack and make sure the sound is working through that.

10 and L are right. Do continuity checks between the edge connector and the speaker. Depending on what cab you have it in, there might be a volume pot installed somewhere in between...

Yup, sounds like one of your speaker wires are bad. If you do find a volume pot in line take it out of the link because I highly doubt a 60in1 has enough power to go through it.

Noob question: how adjust icade settings

Just bought a machine with icade board and no idea how to adjust the settings. Where to start?

There is FAQ on here somewhere. Search for "48-in-1 FAQ". First you get into the menu via TEST button or dip switch setting, make changes using the joystick and buttons, save using the Start button, then exit...

Just wanted to let you know that this two year old thread helped me solve that issue on my game.

Thank you.

Yup, I had a 60-1 with headphone sound working and JAMMA sound not, and it turned out my 12v line wasn't fully making contact. Seems that's the only thing the 12v is used for on that PCB, but unless you're using the headphone out, you pretty much need it!
