Well I just ordered a 60 in 1 board off ebay. It's shipped from hong kong which worried me a tad. But I figure that there probably all made in japan or something anyways. I saw jammaboards.com had them for 150, and I got mine for 85 bucks. Thats with shipping. I just thought I would see where everyone bought theres and if they had good or bad experiences. I will let you know how mine works out.
P.S. When looking at the board it looked very similar, and had what I believed to be the same instruction manual as the one from Jammaboards.com.

I bought my 60-1 from Nixs a KLOV memeber and I just got it up and running and it works great! The ones he sells are the 60-1A boards, I saw the one on ebay and those ones are B quality board which aren't as reliable from what I have read. It cost me $116 shipped to canada but it was worth the extra cost for peace of mind and Nixs has a great reputation for selling quality boards. With that said hopefully yours works alright and you have no issues with it.

+1. Nixs is your guy for these.

Sorry for my newbieness. But how do you know the difference between an A or B board? What is the difference?

Several companies manufacture these boards. I've bought only 2 from members here both were $90 shipped each. The boards looked slightly different, and I found that one of them saved scores for Phoenix and the other didn't. So there may be slight code differences in 60-in-1s.

I bought one from Nixs, and the board was in my hand in 3 days. The board I bought from another member took over a week to arrive from when I sent them paypal (that's even with sending them fed-ex 2 day). That and the other members communication skills weren't as prompt as Nixs. If you need one fast go with Nixs, for sure.

Well i suppose i know where i will be going if i look for one in the future. I hope I don't have any problems with the one I receive

I always get mine from avidcollect.
The "A" boards have always worked using the trackball connector straight to the board for me. High score save as well.

I have found in the "b" boards, that donkey kong junior has some game play issues in the key stage. It doesn't register you pushing the keys up on occasion. You glide right through them.

I suppose the question I have is how do you know which one a board is. This is the only site I have seen so far that specified a and b boards.

b normally has the big black box on it the a's have no black plastic box

also the a's have the trackball plugs that work

Kingsley gets the a's the same place i get them

Thanx for clearin that up. I got a b board :(. Well if I have too many problems with it, sounds like I will be getting ahold of you!
