60-1 wierd stuff happening-need to solve for delivery tomorrow!!

okay, i have a 60-1 board that i bought from nixs. The board works great in my double dragon cabinet. but when i put it into the new cabinet that I am building, i dont get anything to appear on the screen after booting.

now, i rebuilt the monitor and smoke tested it with my double dribble board - it works beautifully. however when i put the 60-1 into this cabinet, i get a black screen that flickers blue (partially). when i put the board in test mode i can go right to the color grid.

my power supply is at 5.05dcv. within spec for the board.

This is to be delivered tomorrow night, so i must resolve this asap.

thanks

Check for the other voltages. You may be getting +12V and -5V in your old cabinet and not in the new one.

+12 is fine.. no -5v.. it ended up working.. pretty stupid on my part. the screen was upside down so when i peeked through the backside, i didnt see the Initialization text.. but i think the flyback was turned too high(too bright), as the flicker would show some raster.. so i adjusted and all is good. the only thing left is for me to put the marquee in, monitor bezel and assemble the control panel.

yes Dk is one of the 60 games. and yes, double dragon is a horizontal game - but the double dragon cabinet is one of the easiest cabinets to be able to turn the monitor orientation (in about 2 minutes).

here are some photos of my cabinet is this one of the easy ones to change orientations?

doesnt look like it the way that the monitor is in there butwith most cabs, you can make a permanent change - you just wouldnt have the ability to swap orientations at will.

what cab is that?
