I did some searching on the forum looking for why my trackball wouldn't connect to my 60-1 PCB. After some digging I found that I need to hook it directly to my player 2 controls. Not sure how this works.

Do I still connect the trackball to Con3? What wires get connected? I have the bob roberts connector and have a red-board happ trackball. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If you look at the manual for the 60-in-1, it will show the pinout of both the CON3 connector and the P2 wiring (with the trackball wiring, too). Using those, you should be able to tell which wires on the CON3 connector you got from BobRob go to which wires from the P2 wiring (most likely you'll need to cut and splice). Then you connect the +5 and ground wires to the power supply, and you should be good to go...

with the bob roberts trackball to pcb connector it should just plug right in.

your other option is player 2 wiring (I hate doing it this way) I only do so if you trackball won't read when plugged into the con connector on the board.

I believe this is why he asked, because the CON3 connector isn't working...
