I just installed a 60 -1 amd love it .A few questions. Is there a way to tie in the power supply to the monitor and lights so i dont need two power supplies. The reason im asking is that I put this in a pacman and not really sure if I can or if its just the way it is .The other question is when I put it in free play every game automaticly coins up the player 1 and 2 .Is there a setting that i can do to get it to only coin up the player on button. Thanks for everything guys and special thanks to armi for getting it to me so quick .PEACE!!!

First you should explain how you currently have it hooked up.
From what you said, I will guess you have an origional pacman, and then bought some adapter to plug in the 60-in-1, and it is powered with a separate ps.
I am not real familiar with pacman, but I believe it has 120v to the board for power. There are two adapters that will let you plug in a jamma board into a Pac. The first is about $60 and includes a transformer(??) to power the jamma board( doubt you have that since it would use the Pac's power.) The second is about $20 and needs a separate PS to power the jamma board. It also has dip switches to allow you to use the pac's player 1&2 start buttons as button 1&2.
I used this adapter to put a 48 in my brothers Pac cab, I wired a receptical into the pac's power to power a computer powers supply that fed the jamma adapter. This way it turns on/off with the pac's switch. I didn't try free play on his, but it should allow you to press "player one start" to allow you to scroll through the games, then press "player one start" to start a one player game (don't think having button 1 and 2 the same as start 1&2 should matter, unless it won't allow you to choose a 1 player because it's also preview?)

Yea the setup you described is what is going on(pac supply and seperate power supply) where did you tap into the pac supply to have everything work together. As for the buttons as soon as i select a game it starts the game without me hitting the player 1 button. If there are two credits it automaticly credits it for two players and then starts .Im i missing something or is there a wire or a setting set wrong .I dont get it .If anyone might have an answer I would love it .Thanks again for all your help guys

All you need to run your 60 in 1 is a switching power supply for the game board, coin door light(s) and CP lights (if it's a cocktail) and an isolation transformer for the monitor, both powered via switch and fuse. Bob Roberts has the info on his site.

Basically you power it like a typical Jamma cabinet.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should probably do a bit more reading on the 'net, especially Bob's site. Hooking things up wrong makes them smoke, and sometimes go boom.

I tapped into the terminals at the bottom of the game, you should be able to see which is the hot and nuetral after the switch, but if not just use a tester and see that they are off when the switch is off.
Not sure what the problem is, but when in free play you "select" the game by pressing the player start 1 or 2 button. Not sure if it matters which button(start 1or2) you pressed to be able to select a game.

Also it doesn't matter if it's a "switching" power supply or computer PS, they will both only be supplying the jamma board since Pac didn't have coindoor lights

put your game into test, advance to the input test screen, and see if the player 1 button works. You may have your player 2 button wires wrong, and it is thinking it is pressed all the time, or if it is an original button, the blades may be too close together....

Good idea mod, had thought about telling him about the test screen but forgot to include it.
Also while on the xx-in-1 did you find the 19-in-1 didn't have an option for hyperspace(defender/stargate) some one posted having that problem with on in a wtb jrok board thread today. I took a look at one I have and found I couldn't hyperspace, but am not real familiar with both games and didn't wire up or adjust the "dip" switch settings on this game.

I didn't have any problems with the buttons working. Here's the relevant section on my review of that board with the Arcadeshop MW panel:

Ill see if the leaf switches are to close but I dont think they are .I just want to keep it in free play and not have to play two players every time. It is coining up both credits and starts the game automaticly. Could it be something in the wiring harness? As of right now i just open the coin door and press one credit at a time. Not that big of a deal but still.I do love the 60-1 board alot.Discovering new games that i had no idea that are fun. Thanks guys if anything ill post a video to show you guys whats up.Im sure its something simple.
