60-1 question

Thats what I was wondering. If you turn off the other 59 if you still get the menu?? I was thinking about putting one in a Donkey Kong cab that was converted. And I want it to boot to DK.

I'm pretty sure if you turn off all the other games, it will boot straight to that one game...

Disabling all but one game will make the board act like a dedicated game, no menu. Just make sure you have a test switch in your cab before you do this, otherwise youll always have just one game.

Yep, turn off the rest, and it will boot to that game...

Only way to continue in games like Arkanoid and Gunsmoke.

Not really, as you can always get back into the menu by turning on dip switch #4 on the board before turning it on...

Ok so lets say I was going to put a 60-1 in a stripped nintendo cab I just got. can I leave DK DKJR and DK3 on it and have it boot direct to DK??

Like the Jrok multi, mine boots to defender because its in a defender cab, and just press player 1 and 2 at the same time and go to the menu??

Not sure if the 60 in 1 is the same, but the 48-in-1 does NOT do this... if you disable all game but one it loads..in to the menu with only the single game sitting there. Now once you click in to it, it stays there...but it does not load directly in to the game.

At least the version of 48-in-1 that I tried didn't...

Thats what I thought. I was hoping. Oh well. Thats why I love the JROK board. I can set it to boot to any game I want.

Pretty sure switch 4 is a service switch and not a test switch (IIRC), you can only edit your games list in the test menu. I might be mistaken about that, havent tried it in awhile.

If you leave 2 or more games active you will always have the menu, no getting around that. Theres no reset function in the game either, once you start a game your stuck there until the game is over.

I have the 48-1 and dont have this problem. Mine acts like a dedicated game if the other 47 are disabled, no menu, and boots directly to the game
