I have one that has been on my shelf for a few years..it never would boot...the initial green light would turn on but the dreaded red light with the yellow also came on..I know these are fairly cheap now a days but I wondered if there might be a fix or someone who takes them in on trade etc..not doing me any good just sitting on my shelf...I know with some other software there are things to reset etc on the megatouch etc....but I'm not familiar if these boards are like that or just toast when they don't work.

This is unrelated to earlier post I had about syncing these boards..this is one I already had on shelf that I found ...the others are newer ones I just purchased.

you need one of these

I think you can buy new ones for about $50

Probably cost you more than that to have yours fixed

I've got the guns covered..:D Just checking the waters before I destroy it...seems there is always someone wanting to tackle or recycle when it comes to arcade parts..

I burned out one of my 60-1 boards a few years ago. I was shocked that with as many of these boards as there are around there isn't a stickied thread about how to repair them or the specifics of the board. I posted about it here: https://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=332378 . If your issue is because of too much power on the board you might be able to make the same repair.

I did manage to fix it and got excited thinking this was the easy fix for boards showing the same LED error and bought a few to repair. Of the 4 I bought I managed to fix 2. One needed the same voltage regulator replaced and the other was the older "Quality A" style that had a problem with the socketed rom. The other ones have voltage on the boards but just won't boot, so they sit waiting for the day I learn more about how to repair them.

If you decide you want to toss it I'll take it. LMK.
