6 Player X-Men Price Check

That is a hard one to pinpoint. I have seen them go for several hundred, and seen them go at auction for $10 more than once because of size.

the range on this one is pretty wide depending on condition, inventory and the seller. It's one of those things where "worth" is determined by the particular seller and buyer for that one transaction. It can go anywhere from $300-1000 depending on the perspective the involved parties.

I think it's not "worth" wrecking my back trying to get one

Ultimately this hobby always ends up being more about space than money. Don't pay more than $300 for one of those monsters. It takes up the space of 3 games, without delivering the gameplay of 3 games. You will never see a 6 player game happen unless all your kids and cousins come over at once and play it.

I have TWO of these 6 player cabs sitting in the garage with no room at the moment to even put them in my condo. Even when I get a house soon I might not even keep one of them because they take up so much room. I bought one for $10 at an auction, had one monitor, all controls in great shape and working game board... just bad power supply. The other I bought also for $10 from a guy local who was going to trash it. It has no monitors, no board, but all the controls are there and in great shape. Graphics on both cabinets are also in decent shape as well as the marquee and glass.

Anyways, my opinion after even owning the first one was what in the hell am I getting myself into, this thing is HUGE!!... but.. I am not saying to do this but I seen one that was trimmed down from the back so it wasn't as deep, and then used a 46" vizio lcd with dual split screen inputs for the video. Was pretty cool and didnt take up as much room, although the control panel was still HUGE!

Big, yes. Getting all 6 on there to play is just pure arcade gold! Id love to buy one. Sold mine years ago and to this day regret it.

At that point, they should just plug in a PS3 and run the emulated version...

I'd just like to say if anyone is selling one for $10 I'll be happy to take it off your hands. Owning one, even for a few months, is well worth the $10 :)

These were really cool, but alas VERY big. When you got 6 players actually on it things became absolutely epic.

I payed $300 for mine and like said above it rarely gets used to its full potential. I have a huge space for games, otherwise I would have never considered buying it.

To me anyone that owns a 6 player Xmen is at the top level , "King badass" , on the scale of how hardcore an Arcade Collector you are . Of course it has to be an original running two crt monitors .

At the bottom of the list is someone that owns one game , a MsPacman cab with a 60n1 board in it .

That's awesome that you have two of them! I almost went after a free gutted cab that popped up on CL even though I already have a nice working one. As crazy as it may seem I'd buy a second one too if the price was right.
