brand new and never used . bought 5 of them at 1 time and have 1 left to sell.. . still in factory packing.... $95 shipped

Is it the jammaboards switcher? If not, whose is it and have the other ones been working well? So many different 6-1s at this point it can be hard to tell which are the good ones and which are sketchy.

I have that same switcher and it's working great.:)

Yeah, despite it not having the ability to hard wire something (i think the one mark was building and a couple others had the ability to hit p1 & p2 start or just wire a separate button) to switch games and the lack of a -5 to the connector, pretty much everything I've heard about them is praise. As long as SFIICE doesn't require -5 (and I'm almost positive it doesn't) I'm golden, if it does I have a little soldering to do. Can you confirm that it doesn't power all boards at the same time? If that's the case it would certainly make the power requirements a *hell* of a lot easier to deal with than some of the other ones I've seen around. Would be nice to not have to chain a billion PC power supplies to get things working.

6 in 1 powers only one board at a time.

So a stock power supply is sufficient to run it, or do I need to get something beefy on the end of wattage (one of the higher wattage power supplies, or a computer power supply) to be safe? Sorry for all the questions, but figure who better to get info from than someone who's using one. :)

I am using a single switching power supply, nothing special.
It just needs to be sufficient for each board that you are running.

Got here in the mail today, looks all in order though I don't have a machine I can drop it into just now. I had a fun moment of "oh crap what's this curly yellow wire and what's it gone loose from?" before I realized that was probably the antenna on the reciever module. :) Haven't tried it, will the jamma connector be able to fit with that wire soldered between the two pins?

Thanks again for the quick shipping, even more motivation to get this bloody cabinet finished. :)

Don't worry about that wire. The edge connector doesn't go all the way to the ends of the pads.
If you end up needing the -5volt mod,you should solder any wires for the pins as far from the edge as possible,so they don't interfere with the edge connector.

Figured there was enough clearance there, thanks for the confirmation. Far as I know SFIICE doesn't need -5 so unless I start throwing other jamma boards in that cab I should be good. Thanks again for all the info man. :)
